Renovations

Project Summary

Project Highlights

Project Highlights

This $15M project included the total renovation

of the old Harrison County Hospital campus. The

outdated, 1950s hospital was converted into bright

spacious county government offices.

Shireman was tasked with blending old with new

construction components. Despite challenges of

dealing with asbestos and trying to update an

older building, we were able to bring the project in

$700,000 under budget by obtaining set quotes

from subcontractors.

Because of asbestos, we had to work closely with

the architect and asbestos consultants. In order to

achieve this we broke the project into phases and

sequenced so there were no delays in construction.
