Palmyra Firehouse Station 1- Build-Operate-Transfer B.O.T

The Palmyra Fire District, in concert with local community partners, hired Shireman Construction Management as a Build-Operate-Transfer Developer. 

The BOT process:

1. Created a guaranteed project budget 
2. Allowed the Fire District final authority to approve the design 
3. Established an efficient local financing mechanism 
4. Fast tracked the design and construction 
5. Shireman assumed the construction risk 
6. Used nearly 100% local subcontractors and local suppliers/service suppliers
