Perry Central High School

      The Perry Central School Corporation engaged Shireman to serve as Construction Manager to provide services from preliminary design phases all the way thru final completion .

Brief description of Scope of Projects :

1.       7,112 sf addition to the existing Career and Technical Education Building ( CTE) .   Then renovations to the existing CTE Building .
2.    Reroofing approximately 100,000 sf of existing roof with a new Insulated spray roof product with a 20 year warranty .
3. New HVAC units in the 2 story elementary wing
4. New replacement  60 ton HVAC rooftop unit that serves much of the Existing High School
5.    New  3 gym floor Fieldhouse   23,000 sf
6. New Lobby and  4 classrooms       11,000 sf

                       Shireman was instrumental in recommendations regarding constructability , supply chain challenges , and effective strategies to keep the entire campus operating at full efficient capacities during the construction .  This required extensive early planning with the Superintendent , Facility Department, Architects and Engineers .

                        This also required strategies to balance the goals of Schedule, Phasing ,Budget and Quality Control Protocols .     Additionally , Shireman advised on the identification and budgeting of soft cost items which must be factored into the overall budget . These items include: Financing costs, Furniture/Equipment, Professional Fees, Geotechnical Services, Data, Technology, etc.

                  Managed Sitework challenges regarding differing land conditions, elevations, utility work ,and effective drainage design  .
